The Laurel Police Department is currently located within the Town Hall Building located at the intersection of Poplar & Mechanic Streets. The department operates under the command of Police Chief Michael J. Wilson with daily operations being overseen by Operations Commander Capt. Ricky Richardson. The department has a force of 16 sworn officers and 1 administrative assistant. Together we strive to provide high quality, professional, community oriented police services to our citizens.
