The Town Of Laurel is seeking to fill the position of Administrative Assistant in the Finance Office. Candidates must have good communication and organizational skills. Computer skills are required with experience in Microsoft Word and Excel. Duties include, but are not limited to: answering phones, waiting on customers, preparing deposits, posting payments, preparing business licenses and miscellaneous bills, assisting in preparing utility bills & tax bills, maintaining records, and providing information. Candidates must possess ability to work well with staff and the general public. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Salary DOQ, plus Town benefit package.
